Graceful Women Ministry Training Report

As I said to women leaders presently undergoing training towards consecration and commissioning, a leader without followers, mentees or predecessors is only taking a lone walk. This explains why it was impressed on all board members to invite their mentees so they can learn especially as they work with leaders.

Below is the report filed by one of my mentees who attended the Graceful Women Conference.

By 3:15PM, Dr. Omolola Omoteso led the hymn, "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing". Following this, she enlightened everyone on the purpose and mission of the ministry and how they grow via retreats and trainings. She did this by sharing a power point presentation on Graceful Women Ministry.

At 3:23PM, Mrs. Taiwo Awe Ojo introduced the First Speaker, Mrs. Mbuyi Nakasa-Monnaesi, the Pastor of Upon the Rock Tabernacle of Hope Ministries, Johannesburg in South Africa. Her session was actually the third training session as the training was launched via a prayer session on May 27 and the first and second training session on May 29, 2021 by Pastor Sade Eliyakim Samaila who spoke on Ministry, Ministerial Ethics and Commissioning.

SUBJECT MATTER

Pastor Mbuyi emphasised the need for women to rise up to their responsibilities in ministry. She made reference to Deborah and Priscilla; the  former was a prophetess and led a war despite her gender while the later taught and corrected Appolos in Acts 18:24 alongside with her husband. She added that a woman must build herself with all diligence in her area of specialisation else, she may end up leading with "the spirit of a woman" which is characterised by flesh. She further admonished women to do the Father's work with all seriousness regardless of what negative comments people may make.

Regarding who can minister, she mentioned that anyone can minister by God's Spirit regardless of ethnicity, status or background establishing the fact that God can use anybody. She also added that we should always desire to impact people's life especially those in need of God's grace upon us. She went further to state the importance of the Holy Spirit in ministry as He will help us to minister in love. She rounded off by 4:20PM with by encouraging women to fulfill the Great Commission - drawing humans to God. This followed immediately with a short break.

At exactly 4:32PM, Mrs. Olaronke Olatidoye introduced the next speaker, Ms. Abby Quadri who kicked off with a Prayer Session. It was indeed an electrifying time in God's presence as the Holy Spirit took over. She talked about "Minister, Ministry and Wealth". Drawing reference from Genesis 1:26- 28 and the story of the Widow of Zarephath, she established the fact that God wants us to dominate and there is blessing in sowing seeds. She encouraged women to water their talents and always aim for the next level as there is surely more to come at every level of our lives. She went further to enlighten women on the various investment opportunities they can venture into as wealth is indeed a ministry. She also took time to answer various questions from the participants at the conference.

She rounded off with a Prayer Session at 5:23pm. Following this, Pastor Favour Olugbo Winner took the vote of thanks. This was followed with a Closing Prayer and rendition of South African Praise.
